It’s me, Sable, running LobeCraft, so I read what comes in myself. The person answering is the one who wrote the guide you’re asking about. I reply within a few weekdays.

One thing first: if this is about a piercing that looks infected or is getting worse, please see your piercer or a doctor in person, not a website. I can explain how healing usually goes; I can’t examine your ear over email.

What I can help with

  • A guide on the site. If something isn’t clear, or you think a healing time or aftercare step is off, tell me. I update guides when I’m wrong.
  • A topic suggestion. If there’s a placement, a jewelry question, or an aftercare worry you wish had a straight answer, send it. A lot of what I publish starts as a reader question.
  • A source you want me to read. A study, a professional reference, or a piercer willing to be quoted on the record.
  • Partnership or press. Give me context, not a one-line pitch. Any commercial relationship goes through the affiliate disclosure.

What I can’t do by message

  • Diagnose a piercing. I can’t tell you whether yours is infected from a photo. That’s a piercer or a doctor, in person.
  • Tell you it’s safe to change or remove jewelry yet. That depends on your healing, which only a hands-on professional can judge.

The form

The form below comes straight to me. I read in order. If your question fits a guide I’m working on, I might answer it there, and I only credit you if you ask me to.

The form is handled by the contact plugin. If you don’t see it below, refresh the page and it should load.

Privacy

What you write reaches me only. I don’t share it. How your details are stored and how to unsubscribe is in the privacy policy.
