I’ll be straight with you: LobeCraft makes a little money from affiliate links and ads. That’s what lets me keep researching, keep the guides free, and keep the lights on. Here’s how it works, because I’d rather you know than find out.
What an affiliate link is
It’s a link to a product in another store, such as a jewelry shop or an aftercare brand. If you buy something after clicking, I get a small commission. It costs you nothing extra. The price is the same as if you’d gone there yourself.
My rule
I only link to things I’d actually trust on a body: implant-grade titanium, a sterile saline, a reputable jeweler. I don’t recommend a product because it pays better, and I won’t point a fresh piercing at cheap mystery metal just to earn a click.
My own products
Sometimes I may offer my own material, like a guide or a chart. When that happens, I say so plainly and don’t dress it up as a neutral “recommendation.”
Advertising
The site may show ads from ad networks. Those ads are chosen by the network, not by me, and are labeled as advertising. How your data is handled for that is in the privacy policy.
If you ever see something that looks like a paid recommendation and isn’t labeled, that’s a mistake on my end: tell me through the contact form and I’ll fix it.
